Reading buddies are paired with school-aged Pathway participants to help foster a love for reading while helping develop the child’s literacy skills. Reading Buddies will read with their assigned student 1:1.

Reading Buddies are needed for every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. For example: If a volunteer commits to Tuesdays, the volunteer with read with the same child on Tuesday each week for the entire school semester. Volunteers must complete a background check and attend in-person training.
