Mission To aide in the transformation of one’s core that will in-turn provide a stabilized foundation for all young women transitioning out of the foster care system. Our goal is to provide young women with the push that’s needed to change their lives for the better. That push will start from within, THEIR CORE. Vision Poppy Muse takes a “You are my sister” approach to building up young women that are currently within the foster care system. We will provide services, seminars, workshops and temporary housing. The women we help will also include those that have already aged out the system and still need assistance. The world will be inspired by their stories and would be eager to not only be a part of their growth process; but will also have a hand in the minimization of failing youths and young adults in America. Volunteer Positions - Finance Program Assistant - Career Development Assistant - Public Policy Intern - Grant Writer - Assistant - Videographer/Photographer Intern or Volunteer - Therapist -Youth Councelor/Mentor Board Committee Members - Finance - Fundraising - Outreach - Marketing - Program Development Other - Youth Ambassador Depending on the position the chosen candidate will only be expected to work 4-5hrs per week. We ask that you are ready to REALLY contribute to the organizations mission and cause. Additionally, if you know of a young adult that has charisma and a passion for making change in the foster care community, please send them our way.
