Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina

Do you want to improve the lives of your fellow North Carolinians? Do you have a passion for helping others? Have you ever wondered what your efforts in conjunction with a powerful organization can achieve? Hemophilia of North Carolina (HNC) is currently looking for individuals to join its Board of Directors. HNC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of persons affected by bleeding disorders through advocacy, education, promotion, and service. Our vision is for all persons affected by bleeding disorders to achieve their full potential without barriers or limitations. Here are some examples of what HNC does in our community: ● Arrange educational seminars ● Advocate on a state and national level for the needs of those affected with bleeding disorders ● Host fundraisers throughout the year ● Provide information about other resources available to those in the bleeding disorders community ● Host events to allow affected persons to experience fellowship within our community ● Provide scholarship opportunities to those in the bleeding disorders community to attend secondary education HNC is seeking professionals with nonprofit, fundraising, educational, corporate, legal, and social work experience. This is a volunteer opportunity and Board Members serve a two-year term.
