Volunteer Opportunity:
Case Management for Families Experiencing Homelessness / A Child’s Place (ACP)
I'm Interested!

We help  families and children experiencing homelessness increase access to resources, engage in healthy and supportive relationships, and increase self-sufficiency.

Families of children who are identified as McKinney-Vento (homeless) by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) our eligible for our program. We help their families identify goals and chart a path to reach them

Availability: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm 


Skills Needed: Leadership, Problem-solving, Communication, Teaching

Volunteer Interests:

  • Facilitate workshops and mentor support for parents/guardians on skill development and preventative solutions*
  • Conduct a clothing, hygeine, household or school supplies drive at your location and deliver to our campus

    *Please note that these volunteer activities do not involve direct interaction with children.
