Carolina Youth Coalition is looking for extra hands to assist with our College Send-off on August 7th!
Every August, the Carolina Youth Coalition (CYC) proudly hosts its annual College Send-off event, ensuring our College Fellows are fully equipped with essential dorm room items to kick off their semester. This fall, we are excited to support 180 College Fellows as they head back to campus.
This event not only provides students with dorm room essentials but also includes networking activities, professional headshots, and festivities such as a food truck, games, and music to celebrate their journey to campus this fall.
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with the setup, breakdown, and distribution of dorm supplies. Below is a breakdown of where we could use your help:
Volunteer Needs
1. Set-Up 3:30 | 4:45 p.m. (4 volunteers)
2. Check-in shift #1 | 4:45 pm - 6:45 pm (2 volunteers)
3. Check-in shift #2 |6:45 pm - 8:45 pm (2 volunteers)
4. Professional Headshots | 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. (2 volunteers)
5. Assist with passing out dorm supplies and games (6 volunteers)
