VITA Latino is growing and they need YOUR help!

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is an IRS initiative that Buenas Finanzas Carolinas (BFC) offers under the name VITA Latino for the benefit of the Latino community in Charlotte in which basic tax preparation is offered to those who qualify. Going into the fourth year, VITA Latino volunteers* continue to grow by the numbers - 70 volunteers were trained last season, so now the Buenas Finanzas Carolinas team needs your help!

VITA Latino is always in need of volunteers to fill the roles of ambassador, interpreter, greeter, and tax preparer (basic/advanced). Click here for a full description of each role. Various locations around Charlotte-Mecklenburg are VITA Latino host sites. Evening and weekend help is most needed.

*Tax experience and/or Spanish proficiency is not required. Certification training is required for some roles.
