Mission
Poppy Muse is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization aiding in the stabilization of young women transitioning out of foster care. We provide webinars, seminars, workshops, transitional advocacy, internships for college credit, potential aid via our Emergency Displacement Fund and more.
Vision
Poppy Muse takes a “You are my sister” approach to building up young women that are currently within the foster care system. We provide services, seminars, workshops, and temporary housing support/referrals. The women we help, either have already aged out of the system or still additional need assistance/guidance. The world will be inspired by their stories and would be eager to not only be a part of their growth process; but will also have a hand in the minimization of failing youths and young adults in America.
Board Member Opportunity
Job Title: Communications & Public Relations committee member
Reports To: Founder/President
Hours: Time required to fulfill their responsibilities 2-5 hrs per week at minimum
Duration of webinar Sessions: 30-40 mins, 1-2 times per week
Salary: TBD
Location: Virtual/Zoom
Job Responsibilities: The communication committee is responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring the organization's policies, social networking accounts, discussion groups, and implementing new ways for the organization to communicate with its members and other interested parties through media platforms. Other responsibilities include updating and overseeing the strategic marketing plan to maintain the integrity of Poppy Muse Inc when promoting the organization's mission and marketing development( awareness) .

Ability to work independently/alongside the founder
Good computer skills
Ability to meet project deadlines
Willingness to self-develop in a start-up environment
Entrepreneurial-minded person who desires to grow with the company
