The Academy of Goal Achievers is growing, and we need your help. This year we had a record-breaking month in November with serving over 350 students. We need to get more students access to college and career readiness activities, but more dedicated community members are needed to expand the reach.
Objective: To help expand the community reach and impact of The Academy of Goal Achievers through community base programming, outreach, and resource development.
This new form committee will complete a (1) day training that consist of 4.5 hours.
Time: 3pm-7:30pm - ongoing meetings (Quarterly) and trainings throughout the year.
Training will consist of cross-functional training to ensure everyone on the committee is ready and equip as opportunities arise.
Training includes Job Readiness, Career Coaching, Mission Overview, Core Values, Documentation, Presentation, Review of Sponsorship Package, Referral Process and the Goal Achievers Way.
Individuals will choose with alignment area (3) they best align themselves with the organization mission and objective of the Community Outreach Committee.

- Help coordinate a Vocational Career Fair in November in collaboration with Charlotte Library
- Facilitate In-School and Community Base Job Readiness Training

2. Resource Development
- Help Secure Sponsorships
- Help Identify and secure Job Shadowing/Internship partnerships (onboard training)
Help identify community partnerships.
3. Community Outreach
- Represent the organization at community events by being a vendor.
- Marketing
- Identifying community events to spread the word about the organization mission.
