Position Overview:

First Gen Success seeks dedicated individuals to join our Finance Committee as volunteers. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to our mission of empowering first-generation college students. Multiple volunteer opportunities await, allowing you to select the role that aligns best with your interests and skills. As a Finance Committee volunteer, you will be crucial in supporting monthly budget reviews year-end financial assessments, and assisting with creating a detailed program budget.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for monthly budget reviews and year-end financial assessments.
• Collaborate in creating a detailed program budget to ensure adequate financial planning.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in financial management.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial planning.

Commitment:

• Flexibility in scheduling with a minimum commitment of 2 hours per month.
• Attendance at committee meetings and occasional training sessions.
