First Gen Success is seeking a proactive and dedicated Community Engagement Volunteer to help increase our brand awareness and foster relationships with potential sponsors, partners, and local businesses. This role is crucial in expanding our network and resources to enhance the impact of our programs for first-generation students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach initiatives to raise brand awareness within the community.
  • Identify and engage potential sponsors and partners, presenting the vision and goals of First Gen Success.
  • Onboard new sponsors and partners, ensuring they are well-informed and aligned with our mission.
  • Reach out to local businesses to secure in-kind donations that support our events and programs.
  • Explore and develop fundraising opportunities to further our cause.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with sponsors, partners, and donors to cultivate lasting relationships.
  • Represent First Gen Success at community events and networking functions.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to persuade and inspire.
  • Enthusiasm for community involvement and a passion for the mission of First Gen Success.
  • Experience in outreach, fundraising, or marketing is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Time Commitment:

  • Flexible hours; however, a consistent commitment is needed to build and maintain relationships effectively.
