Overview:
First Gen Success seeks a proactive and enthusiastic volunteer to play a vital role in engaging sponsors and partners to support our programs for first-generation students. This flexible, lower-responsibility role focuses on cultivating relationships with potential sponsors and fostering connections with local businesses to enhance our impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with outreach initiatives to engage potential sponsors and partners, presenting the goals and mission of First Gen Success.
• Build connections with local businesses to secure in-kind donations for events and programming.
• Support the onboarding process for new sponsors and partners, ensuring alignment with First Gen Success values.
• Serve as a liaison between sponsors and First Gen Success, maintaining communication to nurture lasting relationships.
• Represent First Gen Success at occasional community events or networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for community involvement and a passion for educational equity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow through on assigned tasks.
• Previous experience in  outreach, or sponsorships is a plus but not required.

Time Commitment:

• Flexible hours based on availability; a consistent effort is appreciated to ensure relationship-building continuity.
