Position Overview:

First Gen Success invites enthusiastic individuals to join our Marketing Committee as volunteers. As a vital part of our team, you will contribute to our mission of empowering first-generation college students. Multiple volunteer opportunities await, allowing you to select the role that aligns best with your interests and skills. This volunteer opportunity will enable you to play a crucial role in creating promotional materials, designing social media campaigns, assisting in newsletter development, and contributing to developing our comprehensive marketing plan.

Responsibilities:

• Create visually appealing promotional flyers, save the date/invitations and graphs.
• Design and present engaging social media campaigns to promote our initiatives.
• Assist in the development and refinement of newsletters to effectively communicate with our audience.
• Collaborate on developing a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance our outreach efforts.
• Assist with Giving Tuesday and other fundraising campaigns
• Develop and execute unique social media strategies
• Create engaging content to drive awareness and inspire action
• Help share stories that amplify our mission within the community
• A creative thinker with a knack for social media and storytelling
• Someone excited about making a difference in a meaningful wa

Qualifications:

• Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and design.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools and social media platforms.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in marketing or related fields is a plus.
