Friends of Feral Felines

Volunteer Opportunity:
4. Hotline Representative
I'm Interested!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! Do you love cats and people? Are you great in thinking outside the trap, er, we meant to say box? A hotline representative is the voice of Friends of Feral Felines! We provide fellow citizens with resource information to help community cats, specifically related to Trap-Neuter/Spay-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR).  Our focus area is Charlotte, NC and surrounding communities.

Oftentimes residents contact Friends of Feral Felines when they find themselves in stressful situations. A customer service mindset is key to being successful in this volunteer role. We approach all callers with a spirit of collaboration and diplomacy.

The Friends of Feral Felines hotline is a voicemail system allowing residents to call in 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and leave a message. Volunteer shifts are divided into a.m. and p.m. time slots. Volunteers listen to messages and respond to callers during their volunteer hours. Calls can be returned at anytime during one's volunteer shift.  Training is provided and all hotline volunteers have access to a detailed 'Hotline Handbook' that contains current TNVR information.

Pssst: Thank you in advance for your patience if you are not contacted immediately. Our volunteer base is currently very small (we REALLY need you)! Between our day jobs and citizen volunteer efforts, time can get away quickly. Please be purr-sistent. Thank you meowy much >^.^<
