📚 Bereavement Book Cart Donation Coordinator for Hospitals & Families 💜

What You’ll Do:

This is a role at the very heart of what we do at Gemma's Hope!  As our Donation Matchmaker, you’ll play a crucial role in coordinating the delivery of Bereavement Book Carts to hospitals in need. You’ll be the friendly bridge between hospitals seeking resources and families honoring their babies by sponsoring a cart in their memory.

You don’t need to prepare the carts yourself (unless you want to!), but we need someone to manage the planning, coordination, and communication that keeps this program running smoothly. You’ll hear incredible stories from bereaved families and nurses, ensuring that every cart finds its way to a hospital that truly needs it.

What You’ll Really Be Doing:

📍 Connecting families & hospitals – You'll help manage the logistics of our Book Cart donation process:  Families raise the funds for the Book Cart & its supplies + a hospital in need of perinatal bereavement resources receives it.
💌 Communicating with all parties – Contacting the hospital, communicating expectations, discovering needs, & calculating the total needed to be fundraised.
📅 Managing logistics & deadlines – Keeping track of total fundraised, submitting list of needed supplies for the cart, & finding a common date for the family to meet at the hospital to celebrate the dedication of the cart in-person.
💜 Making an impact – Every cart placed means a grieving family gets meaningful support, resources, and memory keepsakes when their baby has died in the hospital.
