🔥 Volunteer Role: Grant Wizard (aka Grant Writer) 🔥

Hours: Flexible! Even just a little time is impactful!

What You’ll Do (AKA Your Superpowers):
We need a wordsmith with a knack for storytelling and a nose for funding! As our Grant Writer, you’ll hunt down opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and secure the funds that help Gemma’s Hope do what we do best—support hospitals & grieving families after stillbirth and infant loss. You’ll lead the charge in developing, writing, and submitting grants to federal, state, and private funding agencies, with some grant management sprinkled in as needed.

✅ Master Detective Skills – You love digging for grant opportunities from government, corporate, foundation, and private sources that align with our mission.
✅ Writing Wizardry – You can spin dry application language into a compelling, heart-tugging, high-quality proposal that funders can’t say no to.
✅ Deadline Slayer – You keep track of submissions, follow up like a pro, and keep everything organized so we never miss a funding opportunity.
✅ Organization Extraordinaire – You maintain our master list of grants, contracts, and deadlines while keeping the team in the loop. We use Monday.com & Google Sheets.
✅ Impact Maker – You’ll help secure funding that directly supports loss families—so every grant you land makes a real difference.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:

💻 Good computer skills & access to a computer at home.
📅 The ability to juggle deadlines like a circus act (but with way less stress).
🚀 A self-starter attitude—you’re cool working independently but also love collaborating.
