Invasive Species Removal- Falcon Trail

Join Lynn Rivera (CTT/CLC Volunteer) and Carrie DeJaco (Pfeiffer University Professor) for a morning of preserve restoration by removing invasive plants including Autumn Olive and Privet. Volunteers must be 13 years of age to participate and be accompanied by an adult if under 18. Each workday is limited to 12 volunteers.

When: Second Saturday of each month from October 2023-April 2024

Where: Falcon Trail-Trailhead at intersection of US 52 and Wesley Chapel Rd. Link to Address

What to bring/wear: Closed toed shoes, long pants, water bottle

What will be provided: Project direction, tools

Meeting Location:

Pfeiffer University campus- Misenheimer NC. When you drive down Merner Terrace Rd., the road will curve to the right to go over the creek. You can either park straight ahead, before crossing the creek, or to the left just after crossing the creek.
