Named after Brenda "Mimi" Jackson, late mother of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kelly Earnhardt Miller, this one acre produce garden and food-focused resource provides FeedNC the opportunity to help end the cycle of hunger and poverty with extensive programs for those in need. This garden grows produce that nourishes those in need, used in The Grassroots Grocery Program and used as an ingredient for meals served through Donoghue’s Open Door Community Dining.
Volunteer opportunities are available for 2-4 hours and may include:
-Planting, weeding, and watering produce
-Harvesting produce
-Miscellaneous gardening and landscaping duties
