A bit about us: For the past 9 years, we've been creating opportunities for kids and young adults with special needs to help them get comfortable hanging out with others and become active members of the community. Nearly 5 years ago we started a new initiative to teach our special friends job skills and offer them employment based on their individual talents and passions. That’s how ZABS Place was born!
Our mission is to offer training and structured work opportunities to young adults with special needs in their area of interest. Our goal is to attract and maintain a strong customer base by offering an upscale, boutique-style experience, at thrift store prices. Most importantly, we strive to exceed expectations through personalized service and attention to detail.
So where do you come in? We are looking to expand our team and are looking for a 2-person Pickup & Delivery crew, to start in April, who are committed, professional, have moving experience, and are willing to learn our system.
Pickup/Delivery Job Description:
Commit to one day a week (5 hrs.) when you'll take care of any/all pickups and deliveries on the schedule.
Here's what you'll need:
- A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record
- A good space concept and ability to maneuver things to maximize space
- Strong time-management skills
- Great people skills and communication skills
- Some organizational experience
- Strategic thinking, flexibility, and the ability to improvise quickly
- Sense of humor!
