Volunteer your time and talents to Parkinson Association of the Carolinas (PAC) a nonprofit that supports the Parkinson's disease communities of NC & SC. We are looking for people to serve on our Finance Committee. Members can be located in either North Carolina or South Carolina. Meetings are typically from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm and take place in person with conference call and/or Zoom capability. Here are the roles and responsibilities of the committee:
Ensure that accurate and complete financial records are maintained
Ensure that accurate, timely, and meaningful financial statements are prepared and presented to the board
Oversee budget preparation and financial planning
Safeguard the organization’s assets
Help the full board understand the organization’s financial affairs
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and other requirements related to the organization’s finances
