Philips Academy of NC

During DO GOOD Week and throughout the year, we invite volunteers to connect with our students and share their knowledge.  Students enjoy learning about jobs, vocations and areas of interest/ expertise. Volunteers may present to a class in person or by Zoom. Recent guest speakers have included:  artist, caterer, dentist, financial planner, and interior decorator. Share your passion with our students and everyone including you will be inspired! Volunteer guest speakers contribute to our Real Learning For Real Life curriculum that includes academics, job training, and social/life skills. Speakers provide an engaging adjunct to classroom lessons and community outings.
