Position Overview

Queen City Robotics Alliance (QCRA) is seeking a dynamic and strategic volunteer to drive our sponsorship growth and impact. As a Sponsor Engagement Strategist, you will identify potential sponsors, analyze data to enhance outreach effectiveness, and foster meaningful relationships with current and future partners. This role is key in connecting QCRA with organizations that share our passion for STEM education and talent development.  Key Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and prioritize potential sponsors using research, professional networks, and community connections, creating a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with current and future sponsors, crafting tailored sponsorship opportunities that align with QCRA's mission and the sponsor’s goals.
  • Analyze sponsorship trends and outreach data to provide actionable insights, prioritize high-impact sponsors, and showcase the benefits of engaging with QCRA’s talented student pool.
  • Track sponsorship outcomes, measure the effectiveness of outreach efforts, and recommend strategies to improve engagement and maximize impact.
Qualifications
  • Enjoy communication and relationship-building experiences with good skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or visualization software).
  • Experience with professional networking tools like LinkedIn.
  • Passion for STEM education and workforce development.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Commitment and Reporting
  • This is a volunteer position without remuneration, reporting to the program manager or executive leadership.
  • The estimated time commitment is 8–16 hours per month, with flexibility depending on project timelines.
  • Volunteers must register with FIRST and successfully complete the Youth Protection screening process.
  • Volunteers represent QCRA to stakeholders and act as ambassadors for the organization.
