Technology Board Position:

We are seeking a board member with expertise in technology and digital strategy. 

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or digital transformation
• Knowledge of implementing tech solutions for nonprofits or small organizations
• Ability to advise on data management, software, and digital tools
• Passion for leveraging technology to support education and workforce development

Key Duties & Responsibilities:  

Advise on technology strategy, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity best practices. Recommend digital tools to improve efficiency, program delivery, and outreach. Support data management and analytics for impact measurement. Guide digital transformation and tech growth initiatives. 

Board Member Expectations: 

• Commitment to the Mission: Support and advocate for She Built This City’s mission of empowering women, youth, and marginalized communities through skilled trades.
• Active Participation: Attend and actively engage in at least 5 board meetings annually, and engage in events or committees.
• Advisory Support: Provide expertise in your field to guide decisions and strategies.
• Advocacy & Networking: Help expand She Built This City’s network and connections.
• Governance: Uphold best practices in compliance and oversight. 

Financial Expectations:

• Annual Contribution: Make a meaningful annual gift based on capacity. 
• Fundraising: Participate in fundraising efforts and events. 

Time Commitment:  4-6 hours per month for meetings, advisory tasks, and events.
