Special Olympics Mecklenburg County is looking for coaches to join our program! We are specifically looking for coaches for our upcoming Fall and Winter season. We are most in need of cycling, golf and softball in the fall and skiing/snowboarding in the winter.
Coaches are required to complete a background check and online and in-person training. The training takes about 5 - 8 hours over a few months with most being online. The season is 8-10 weeks with a weekly commitment during that time of 90 minutes to 3 hours per week depending on the sport. There are competition opportunities as well. SOMC will handle securing facilities.
