First Gen Success

Position Overview:

First Gen Success seeks enthusiastic individuals to join our Sponsorship Committee as volunteers. There are various volunteer opportunities available, and you can choose the area that best suits you .This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to our mission of empowering first-generation college students. As a Sponsorship Volunteer, you will be vital in supporting our fundraising efforts, grant writing, grant research, and community outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead fundraising efforts to support our programs and initiatives.
• Serve as a Grant Writer, preparing compelling grant proposals and applications.
• Conduct grant research to identify potential funding opportunities.
• Collaborate on community outreach initiatives to engage stakeholders and partners.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to conduct research and analyze data effectively.
• Prior experience in fundraising, grant writing, or community outreach is a plus.
• Passion for supporting first-generation college students.

Commitment:

• Flexibility in scheduling with a minimum commitment of 2 hours per month.
• Attendance at committee meetings and occasional training sessions.
