2025 MLK Call to Service Graphic

Each year, you have the opportunity to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by joining service projects that make a meaningful impact in the Charlotte area. MLK Call To Service provides vital support to our community and offers you a chance to start the New Year by reflecting on Dr. King's inspiring commitment to service.

This year, your efforts will focus on packing supply kits to meet the needs of local grassroots nonprofits, Title I schools and residents in neighborhoods engaged with United Way's United Neighborhoods program. Additionally, nonprofit partners from United Way’s Unite Charlotte initiative will be on-site to share ways you can stay connected and make a difference beyond the Call To Service.

You may choose the time and location that works best for your schedule, with two amazing nonprofit partners hosting at their respective locations: Renaissance West Community Initiative and Life Project. Together, let’s make this day of service impactful and unforgettable.
