As our Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a key role in the recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers. Your efforts will ensure that our programs run smoothly and that our volunteers feel valued and supported in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for various community projects and events.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance volunteer engagement and satisfaction.
- Coordinate schedules and assign duties to volunteers based on program needs.
- Maintain accurate records of volunteers' contact information, schedules, and hours served.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all volunteer communication, providing support and motivation to ensure a positive and productive volunteer experience.
- Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the organization’s goals are met through volunteer efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in volunteer coordination or a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with volunteers from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational and team management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain flexible with responsibilities.
