We are seeking a Social Media Intern to ensure our community has the latest information about our organization. A Social Media Intern is an important part of an organization’s digital marketing team. The intern helps identify, conceptualize, design and execute campaigns to boost engagement, educate and inform our audience about services and programs.

Intern Responsibilities:

Help create content calendars
Develop and distribute text and video-based content
Monitor social media channels
Support promotional and marketing effort

Skills & Qualifications:

Collaborative mindset.
Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in digital communications or related field such as advertising, journalism or graphic design
Impeccable oral and written communication skills
Experience with major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Tiktok, etc.
Knowledge of social media analytics software, such as Facebook Insights to track audience engagement and campaign performance
Experience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing software
Interested in social media trends
Copywriting and editing skills
Creativity
Available to work at least 1-2 hours per week or more
Ability to work under tight deadlines

Education & Training:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a creative field, or is a recent graduate. High school inquiries will be considered on an individual basis.

This is a volunteer position.
