For the second year, the top youth slam poets in Charlotte, NC will open the 2024 BOOM Charlotte Arts Festival and compete in a literary and public speaking battle to decide this year's youth poetry slam CHAMPION and which poets will go on to represent our city at the 2024 Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Festival!

BreatheINK Youth Poetry Slams are unlike any other events in the Queen City. Students from across the area will compete as they embrace their stories, support each others tragedies and victories, and celebrate their poetry community!
