Kwanzaa Charlotte is a fun and educational way to celebrate Kwanzaa with family and friends in the Queen City. The event will feature live drumming, youth and adult performances, a spelling bee and an opportunity to shop and support local artists and vendors. This FREE event is a great way to celebrate the principles of Kwanzaa, including Kuumba, which teaches "Creativity: To do always as much as we can, in the way we can, in order to leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it."
