The timeless musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is back, bringing its classic tale to the stage once more! This beloved story follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who, on one fateful Christmas Eve, is visited by three spirits. These ghostly encounters lead him on a journey through his past, present, and future, ultimately resulting in a profound transformation and experience of redemption.
If you are unable to see a show at full-price, Matthews Playhouse offers a Pay-What-You-Can performance for most productions. This program extends the availability of the arts to those on a limited budget. Not only do we make the arts more accessible to the community, we also donate a majority of the net proceeds to our local non-profit partner for the production. Your ticket purchase helps others in YOUR community!
Suggested donation: $10 per person (any amount accepted). General admission only, with donations collected at the door (cash or credit). Net proceeds collected will be donated to Common Heart, a local food pantry.
