Join the Money Magnets Club on a six-session adventure to a financially healthy future for parents and kids! Parents and kids will be in two separate groups so they can study the same topic on different levels. Please register for each session individually.

This series is open to anyone, but is geared toward families with young ones who are home schooled.

3/5 - Intro to Entrepreneurship: Exploring the Past to Chart Financially Healthy Futures

This session will work with adults and children to explore the opportunity to learn about themselves and their family history as a way of considering opportunities and connections to entrepreneurship. It will also provide some insight into ways family history can serve as a basis for entrepreneurial ventures.

3/19 - Money Talks: Financial Literacy

This session will work with adults and children to explore fundamental learning about money (history, psychology, budget, credit) and provide information about resources, tools, and products that might be useful with respect to the learning components.

4/2 - Money Talks: Are you Financially Healthy?

This session will work with adults and children to explore the components of financial health and how that translates to vision, behaviors, and practices related to money and financial services.

4/16 - Exploring Entrepreneurship Planning

So you want to be an entrepreneur? Where do you start? How do you consider structure, organization and approaching the work with a strong foundation? Learn some of the practical considerations for new business owners from filing types to resources that exist to optimize your planning from ideas to implementation and growth!

4/30 - Creative Entrepreneurship: Write, Camera, Action!

Join local guest entrepreneur and author Kimberly Wilson for a book signing, reading, and fun activities around her book series about fictional money characters. Each family will receive one signed book from her series called A Penny's Worth!

5/14 - Money Talks: Taking Action With Your Money

Financial Planning, Financial Advising, Self-Directed Investing, what are the pros and cons? When is a good time to get started? What are the options and what are the risks. This is not a session to pitch or sell any products or services from any financial professional or institution. It is an opportunity to learn about a variety of options that exist to consider, for both kids and for adults.
