What We Do

Money Magnets Club (MMC) is a community that encourages entrepreneurship and financial literacy among elementary school kids and their responsible adults through exposure, education, and resources, to build generational wealth.

MMC uses developmentally appropriate learning approaches for 5-11 year olds to engage kids around practices and principles of entrepreneurship, introduce a variety of ways that entrepreneurship can exist, ideate, plan, and provide material resources to support their business idea. We cater to kids through our multi-part program series in geographic areas that have been underinvested in, like Charlotte's West side, that has so much vitality and ingenuity.

While squarely focused on our mission and targeted service group, we are intentionally engaging the entirety of the family unit with a holistic approach. Our newest programs allow us to work with pre-K to seniors in service of our elementary school kids!

moneyTRAIN - is a new program that works with adult serving organizations that are focused on economic empowerment, to align similar learning for elementary schoolers of those adults, during the same programming time window. Learn more here: https://www.moneymagnetsclub.org/blog

Financial Literacy Facilitator Corps - our internship program works with high school and college students who have interest in building a financial literacy baseline of knowledge, practicing communication and presentation skills, and working on other integral life skill development. Learn more here: https://www.moneymagnetsclub.org/internships

Information Sessions - we work with a variety of groups to host one-time or limited run sessions about the importance of financial literacy and entrepreneurship, and how to engage young ones in the conversation and activities accordingly. Request a conversation to set up a session here: https://moneymagnetsclub.org/contact
