7th Street Concerts

Back for its second year, 7th Street Concerts presents a new season of musical experiences that are fresh, classical and a little unexpected with world-renowned classical musicians who captivate audiences in an intimate setting in the heart of Charlotte. 

Last year, audiences were thrilled by artists whose engaging and electrifying performances – inspired by traditions from classical to folk – created unforgettable musical experiences. Beyond our ticketed concerts, we offer a unique take on community service with free performances in hospitals, shelters and schools to inspire and connect people with the power of music. We are in residence at St. Peter's Episcopal Church at the corner of  7th Street and Tryon (and thus our name).

7th Street Concerts launched its new season with a free benefit concert in October for Western N.C. featuring Sphinx Virtuosi, one of the most celebrated chamber orchestras in the country, co-hosted with Charlotte Preparatory School. Through this partnership, hundreds of supplies were collected for those impacted by Hurricane Helene to be distributed by YMCA. Additional partnerships includes Charlotte SHOUT!, Friends of the Fourth Ward and WDAV.fm.
