What We Do

A21 combats human trafficking through a multi-dimensional operational strategy: Reach, Rescue, and Restore. Through partnerships and efforts of supporters all across the globe, we truly believe that human trafficking can be prevented, that victims can be identified and assisted, that perpetrators can be brought to justice, and that more survivors can step into a life of independence. Our office in Charlotte, NC operates A21's US Aftercare Program known as the Freedom Center. The A21 Freedom Center is a type of transitional model for Survivors of human trafficking and provides survivors with the support they need to transition to living a fully independent, flourishing life. This includes assistance in repatriation, housing assistance, employment assistance, educational scholarships, psychological care, and assistance stabilizing and dealing with the effects of their experiences. Our team works face to face with survivors in our care, meeting with them regularly and walking the journey of restoration alongside of them. Restoring what has been taken away, and renewing hope for a better future.

Interesting Info
