What We Do

Founded in 2022, The Accelerated Training Program (T-ATP) is a nonprofit that provides accessible cybersecurity education to underrepresented groups from the K-12 space. At T-ATP, we research and bring awareness to systemic exclusion in cybersecurity education while cultivating young leaders in the cybersecurity space.

Our non-profit was born from a commitment to study how to remove the systemic exclusion of cybersecurity education to marginalized groups. Our responsibility is to make cybersecurity education curriculums rigorous but available to all. We wholeheartedly pledge to change how cybersecurity education is taught through legislation and hands-on support to those in the community.

With 8% African-Americans and 24% women in the cybersecurity workforce, there’s a disparity in access to cybersecurity education. T-ATP will work with legislators to provide equitable, accessible, and rigorous cybersecurity education by creating a national cybersecurity curriculum. A national cybersecurity curriculum will ensure that cybersecurity education is equitable for all, thus creating equal opportunities as everyone will be afforded the same chances.
