What We Do

Agape Acres exists to serve vulnerable and special needs youth by pairing them with a trained mentor and a rescue horse to find hope, unconditional love, and encouragement.  Through equine (horse-assisted) activities, youth work on individual life skills (such as self-worth, emotional awareness, self-regulation, independence, healthy relationships, & responsibility).  Agape Acres is a safe place for struggling youth to find hope, love, and encouragement while working on skills and goals that will help them transition toward healthy adulthood.

Interesting Info
  • Agape Acres is currently fully volunteer- run, so 100% of donations go directly towards the programs and care of the horses.
  • Our rescue horses have come to us due to abuse, neglect, old-age, and/ or health issues. Enduring hardships, similar to our youth.
  • We are blessed to travel with our miniature horses into the community to inspire knowledge, love, and smiles.
