What We Do

The American Pit Bull Foundation is an organization dedicated to promoting responsible breed ownership through education, programming, and assistance. We are a group of dedicated volunteers and responsible dogs owners who understand our role in the community to best help combat overpopulation, unnecessary euthanasia, and family companion safety.

Interesting Info

About 3000 Pit Bulls are euthanized every day, (more than any other animal) - they are the most abused, abandoned, and neglected type of dog
22 Veterans commit suicide every day. Our program Operation Sidekick branches out to help veterans with the dogs that we rescue. #standwiththe22
Provide every veteran with PTSD a service pit bull!
