What We Do

Nestled amid beautiful lakes and hardwood forests, the Anne Springs Close Greenway is a nature preserve more than twice the size of Central Park. Minutes south of Charlotte in Fort Mill, SC, its 2,100 acres serve as a natural buffer from urban development and provides a wide-open space for countless activities. Self-guided kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and trail running are encouraged. The Greenway offers guided adventures such as summer camps, birthday parties, campouts, field trips, fundraising and community events, including but not limited to Earth Day Celebration and outdoor concerts. Members and visiting non-members are invited to engage in conservation through educational and recreational programs, as well as various individual, group and corporate volunteer opportunities.
