What We Do
Anuvia Prevention and Recovery Center is a nonprofit substance use disorder treatment and prevention facility in Charlotte, NC, that was founded by the Mecklenburg ABC Board in 1958.
Anuvia is CARF-accredited and recognized by the State of North Carolina for excellence. We offer a full continuum of assessment, outpatient and residential treatment services. Anuvia also provides prevention and intervention programs to children and families to address substance use. We offer services on a sliding fee scale basis, and do not turn anyone away due to inability to pay; thus, we are a critical safety net in the community, and many of our clients are low-income. We are also home to the only Latino Services Division in the region offering cultural-and language-appropriate education, assessment and treatment.
IMPACT OF COVID-19 - SPECIFIC NEEDS:

How You Can Help:

We need over-the-counter medications, cleaning supplies, safety supplies, and underwear, socks and clothing for male and female clients, arts, crafts and games.
