Our organization was established to help level the playing field for minority children by providing access to technology, the arts, and in a lot of cases, mental health and trauma support. We want to work with children and young adults academically and socially, teaching life skills, workforce development while also promoting self care. And with adults, we also want to offer classes and workshops for developing life skills, teaching cultural educational and more. We want to focus on providing community services such as community gardens and neighborhood beautification. Some of the fun things we want to start as early as Fall 2022 is neighborhood mixers/ expos that spotlight services and products by black owned businesses and organizations; community gardens and neighborhood cleanup efforts in low income areas of Charlotte (and surrounding); inserting Blessing Boxes in those same low income areas; and working with other nonprofits with educational and career planning specialties.
