What We Do
Bee Mighty is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides support and resources to local families before, during and after a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) journey. Our services include:
- Care Packages
- Bedrest Bundles - for expecting mothers in the antepartum unit who are likely to have a NICU experience
- NICU Care Packages - for families in the NICU with babies born before 30 weeks gestation, and/or weighing under 2.5lbs.
- NICU Support Services
- NICU Photography Program
- Monthly NICU Dinners
- Parent Mentor Program - matching former NICU caregivers with current NICU caregivers to provide support via talk and text
- Grants for Mental Health Counseling for NICU families
- Grants for Developmental Therapy and Equipment for NICU graduates
Our services are currently provided at Levine Children's and Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospitals. Our grants are offered to families with a NICU baby/graduate within ~60 mile radius of Charlotte, NC.
