What We Do

We provide high quality education and support for children in need through partnerships with their families. Alliance Center for Education serves over 500 children each day, in 12 locations around the Charlotte area. Our important work transforms the lives of children and their families by providing educational services to break the cycle of poverty. Our programs are designed to foster, encourage and enable children to fully participate in their own self development and community empowerment. Why is the work done at Alliance Center for Education so important? We are positively affecting the future economic mobility of these at-risk children by successfully guiding them through a meaningful education program. How do we do this? #1 Our early childhood education programs are implemented by caring, certified educators using a structured academic plan for children from birth-5 years old. #2 K-12 students enrolled in our Out-of School-Time (OST) program focus on their homework priorities, strong, character-building projects, and academic enrichment activities. #3 Our teachers and social work professionals tailor our outreach programs to meet the individualized needs of children and their families, providing for special education needs, emotional and psychological support, and helpful information for parents and caregivers that address their concerns and interests. What you can do: Please connect and follow us on Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn! Contribute to our efforts by donating today! Adjustments in our programs actually increased in response to school closures and remote learning COVID-19 protocols. We could really use your financial support today, now more than ever before.
