Cakeable is a workforce development program that equips our neighbors who live with intellectual and developmental disabilities with skills for successful, inclusive employment. We offer vocational training in both our Bakery and at Cakeable Cafe. Our barista and bakery interns produce coffee drinks and baked goods for sale at Cakeable Cafe and at other markets and cafes. Once they graduate from our vocational training program, we work with our interns to find long-term employment at businesses across Charlotte.

Cakeable Bakery is located in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Charlotte .
- We currently usually have 30-40 interns with intellectual/developmental disabilities in our training programs.
