What We Do
Charlotte Community Health Clinic (CCHC) provides comprehensive primary, dental, and behavioral health services to children and adults in Mecklenburg County. Our mission is to provide the highest quality, patient-centered health care services for low-income and other underserved individuals.
As a community health center, our services include chronic disease care, preventative health services, behavioral health, women's health, pediatrics, diagnostics, health education, and dental services. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most major private insurances. For individuals without insurance, we offer a sliding scale program.
GENERAL NEEDS:
Our primary need is funding to cover the cost of the uninsured. We also seek support for specific programming, like our chronic disease management and treatment services, which need various supplies (i.e.glucose monitors, scales, etc.)
VOLUNTEER NEEDS:
CCHC is seeking volunteers to assist with our community COVID vaccination / testing clinics. Volunteers can be clinical or non-clinical and can assist with various tasks such as registration, translation, supply running, etc. Please visit our website volunteer page for more information: https://charlottecommunityhealth.org/en/volunteer/
