What We Do
For over 40 years, the Charlotte Film Society has brought independent and foreign films to Charlotte. In June 2022, the film society opened the Independent Picture House, Charlotte's only dedicated arthouse to independent and foreign films. The community cinema will be the home of the Charlotte Film Festival, which the organization acquired in 2020.
