Child Care Resources Inc. works to ensure that all children from birth through age 12 have access to quality, affordable early learning and school-age experiences that enable them to succeed in school and in life. CCRI offers its free and confidential Child Care Search service to all families seeking child care, and provides child care financial aid to income-eligible working families in Mecklenburg County. CCRI delivers free and low-cost professional development services to help early educators and school-age child care practitioners improve the quality of services provided to children. - CCRI administered $61 million in child care subsidy to low-income working families in Mecklenburg County to help pay for quality child care last year.
- More than 6,000 families were assisted by CCRI in their search for quality child care on behalf of over 8,000 children last year.
