Claire's Army

Claire's Army provides direct support to Charlotte-area patients and families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis. We have the flexibility and responsiveness to meet families exactly where they are, which gives them the best shot at beating cancer. Through our Emergency Assistance, Meal Delivery, and Claire Package programs we make an immediate impact on approximately 200 families each year. Claire's Army works directly with hospital providers (social workers, nurses, physicians, child life specialists) to understand the specific needs of each family and then we respond. This could be: paying multiple mortgage payments during treatment; providing gas gift cards to offset transportation costs to and from medical offices; delivering custom-ordered dinners every week to patients and their families at the hospital; or providing transportation for a caregiver to/from Charlotte to support the patient. There are even more ways we help this special population, all in Claire's honor. We Serve Families, Love Kids, and Fight Cancer - as one powerful army in this Charlotte community.
