What We Do

Commonwealth is a tuition-free public high school serving ages 16 through 21. We feature open enrollment and two sessions per day – morning and afternoon – providing unique schedule flexibility that empowers students to receive a quality education and earn their high school diploma while working, caring for family, or managing other commitments.

Our Purpose: To provide any student with an achievable alternate pathway to a high school diploma, and post-secondary success, when a standard approach doesn’t meet their needs.

Our Promise: We believe that all students can learn. We don’t believe that one size fits all. We strive to deliver a learning experience that fits the individual and an environment that supports their growth.

Interesting Info
  • On avg., students had earned 3 credits per year at their prior schools. After attending our school for a semester or more, the avg. student earned 5.4 credits.
  • 86% of students took advantage of support services provided on our campus for the 23-24 school year.
  • Commonwealth was re-accredited by Cognia for an additional 5-year term, and received an index of Educational Quality (IEQ) score that exceeded the average score
