What We Do

Fashion & Compassion supports vulnerable and oppressed women by providing transitional employment, supportive community and connections to individualized resources in order to empower women who are charting a courageous path toward a self-sustaining life of purpose.

Our Artisans participate in a diverse community where they make jewelry as well as learn work readiness skills, receive emotional support and have opportunities for spiritual growth. We serve women who are overcoming vulnerable situations such as human trafficking, addiction, incarceration, and abuse, as well as refugees and immigrants who have been displaced.

We engage with compassion and serve our artisans regardless of their race, color, religion, national origin, or sexual orientation.

Interesting Info

Fashion & Compassion has a boutique in Dilworth to showcase our Artisans' hand crafted jewelry, handbags and home goods.
We support Artisan projects in over 6 countries in addition to the 3 in our local community here in Charlotte, empowering over 500 women each year.
Fashion & Compassion envisions communities where formerly vulnerable women live abundant, purposeful lives.
