At First Tee - Greater Charlotte, we're empowering kids and teems through the game of golf.

Established in 2003, First Tee - Greater Charlotte is a 501(c)3 serving kids and teens, ages 5-18, from all walks of life. We utilize on-course, in-school, and community programs to teach the game of golf and its inherent values to young people within the Greater Charlotte area.

Our mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with character-building, we create learning experiences that help kids uncover their inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that they can carry to everything they do. Our trained coaches not only provide an introduction to junior golf and an opportunity to enhance golf skills, but they also create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment to help participants prepare for life ahead, including friendships, school, college and even their careers.
